I will be the photographer for a wedding coming up in a little over a week. The florist told me through the groom's mother (she's organizing the wedding) that I should take pictures with an "eye for advertising" so that she could use the images and do cross-promotion. I'm just getting started doing this on the side for some extra money (I'm in grad school now but have done wedding photography before).
I'm not really sure how to deal with it because it might be nice to have her do some promotion since she is an established florist but I don't want to give up my pictures for nothing. As it stands now I was thinking that I'd ask for $25/pic she uses and my name/contact information listed with it.
I'm planning to contact her before the wedding to talk about the situation but I want to go in with a plan.
Any advice from people who have been in a similar situation before should be great.
