What photo editing software is beginner-friendly? (no Photoshop/Lightroom)

Post Body

Hi everyone,

I recently got myself a camera (model: Olympus OM-D E-M5) and started trying to edit RAW photos. I downloaded Darktable, but as a complete beginner in photo editing, I find the software pretty overwhelming. Even after making small edits, I couldn’t reopen the saved images in Darktable – no idea why that happened.

Do you know of any free software that’s more beginner-friendly? I’d prefer not to use Photoshop or Lightroom since I’m just starting and don’t want to pay for something right away. I’d appreciate any tips!

Thanks a lot!
