How much should I charge for editing?
Post Body

Hello Reddit!

My friend, owner of a construction company, who also into photography, recently did a shoot for his company. Its a hero shots, and he took photos of all the team and the equipments.

He doesn’t have time to process all the photos so he asked me to process it for him.

Question is, how much should I charge per photo? The photos is around 600 shots, so I’ll do the culling and selection as well. There’s a bit lighting differences as well so I cant just straight up copy all the settings. And there’s a bunch that needs local editing.

They’ll be using this for marketing material and social media.

I offered it for free since he’s a good friend of mine, but he said that it will be at the company’s expense. And also I realized that it will also take some significant time to edit all of these.

I haven’t done any paid photography / editing in the past. I only do it in exchange of concert passes (concert photography) so i have no idea at all.

Thank you and appreciate all the answers!
