So I have been requested to do a photography walk by a small university. I gave a price expecting to be told no or negotiated with - immediately accepted. I've spoken to them and they had found my black and white architecture photography as they have asked me to only discuss those works on the walk. I feel like this is a huge compliment and I almost feel bad for high balling and getting paid straight away - they are treating me like I'm a lot more well known than I am. I've never been on a photo walk - come to think of I've never been invited to shoot with anyone unless I pay them.
So, any tips on how to keep people happy on photo walks? Have you been on any that either exceeded or failed to hit your expectations - and, why was that? Finally, the people hiring me seem to think I'm some kind of big shot, I don't know where they've got that impression but they are wrong, do I act the part or try to be completely myself?
Attached is a photo the uni bought the rights too right before requesting I host this - so it's fair to assume I'll be talking about stuff like this. Most of this pictures look comes from editing though.
