Sigma 60-600 on Canon RF adapter - I wanted to buy this lens as I read the focus hunting was less of a problem than on 150-600. When testing this lens at the store, it all worked fine up to 550mm but above that it didn’t focus at all and the appature suddenly went back to 4.5. Is this a known issue?
Post Body

Whenever I went above the zoom range I’m showing hete here, it would suddenly jump back to F4.5 on the camera (while that’s normally not possible at this range, it should be at least 6.3) and it didn’t want to focus. It tried to, but it kept jumping forward and backwards very quickly whenever I held the AF button. Like a focus hunting issue, but more extreme.

Is this a know issue and is it fixable with a firmware update? I tried it on my R6 with EF RF adapter. I also tested it on the camera stores R6ii with their adapter and it did the same thing. Is the lens broken? Know RF adaption issue? Firmware issue? I can’t find anything about this issue online.

Bit of a bummer because I don’t want to spend 2.5k on a Canon 200-800 which would be the only working alternative at this point..
