ive had the new found desire to at least TRY car photography. its not going well. ive been accused of being an under cover cop when trying to speak to local car meetups, and told dont turn up or...big trouble. i dont actually know anybody who could afford a car, let alone a photogenic car. ive spoken to a car dealership and got instantlty turned down as 'you need a licence off (redacted car company) or we cant let you'. do i have any other options to get some really good car photos?

im generally a macro photographer and im trying to find something i can get into for winter, ive seen a lot of car photography that has appealed to me and really want to give it a go. obviouslty sports cars that would boost my portfolio up, but almost anythings better than nothing right now.
