Hi. I currently have a Canon 6D. I’m putting some money aside to upgrade to the R8.
Current I have the following lenses: - 24-105mm F4 L (mk1) - 50mm 1.8 STM - 70-200 2.8 III - 70-300 F4/5.6 IS USM
I think that the last one is going to be “too bad” for a R8, as in that it will bottleneck the quality for that camera. I bought it as the 200mm didn’t cut it for me and I wanted something that got a bit further for zoo and wildlife photography (and to overcome having to take a too expensive lens out in the zoo).
Would I be fine with the other lenses? There is not much of a “NEED” in the sense that I do hobby photography and I do not need to get 101% out of my camera the instant I bought it, but it would be a shame to bottleneck the camera too much if it’s not necessary.
What lens should I replace the 70-300 with (if necessary at all) without going bankrupt? There are a few options as far as I’ve seen. The 100-400 looked nice to me but the F8 on the further end scared me a bit.
