I watch a lot of photography videos on YouTube. This guy wanted to recreate a 1990 Thrasher magazine spread he liked. Now, I don't care much about skateboards (I've fallen off a few, but that's about it). But what SUPER exciting was pulling apart his inspiration, what he did with it, how he tried some really fun things to get the photo he wanted, and where he ended up.
You know how a concept car is AMAZING, and then the real output of that is pretty good? That's what I felt like. Not as amazing as his idea, but still pretty cool.
Couldn't believe this guy (I don't know him from anyone, btw) has only 3K or so subs. His video was well made and the ideas were awesome.
Where do YOU go for inspiration? (For me, mostly photography books, but this guy really has me thinking).
