Best camera setup for an absolute beginner?
Post Body

So, I'm just starting out in the world of non-smartphone cameras. I have no idea what camera to buy because there's so many out there, even after I've researched a great deal. I've seen people recommend a Lumix G7 and a GX85. Obviously I'm completely fine buying used, and while it isn't a priority a camera that has acceptable night photos would be nice. I mainly shoot mid-late day and indoors, and mainly portraits. I primarily photograph indoor pets, close-up everyday things, and just your average photo. Currently I'm rocking a Nikon Coolpix L110 because I found it for $10 at a yard sale :). Anyway, any advice or recommendations on what to buy would be much appreciated! Thanks in advance! Edit: Budget is approx. $550.
