Is newer technology more important than robust cameras? Canon 70D vs. R50.

Post Body

I’m looking to switch to mirrorless this fall and want to prioritize a lens which is why the highest I would go is an R50. Maybe I’d get an R10 in a few years but I want a mirrorless fast and that’s the best one I can get with an rf 100-400 or sigma 150-600 contemporary.

I have a 70d and the processor is so old, the shutter is loud, and there’s no bluetooth. Processor alone I think the R50 would perform better and even give me slightly better results in low light. I’d also be able to crop in a bit more for wildlife given the 4 extra megapixels.
