Thoughts on keeping a 35mm 1.4 prime when I have a 24-70mm 2.8?

Post Body

I picked up on a whim a Sigma ART 35mm f1.4, but I'm not entirely sure if it's the right thing for me...

I like the focal length and how it's a good depiction of what I see with my own eye, I'm just not sure on the lens itself.

It's the original HSM version, so it's about the same size and weight as my Sigma 24-70 f2.8 DG DN II.

I'm just thinking, if it's supposed to be an everyday, walking around, see the world how it is sort of lens... Should I try and trade it in for the f2 model instead? As that will be much lighter and smaller, or would I be missing out much going from ART to Contemporary and 1.4 to 2? Or would it be worth just not having a 35mm prime at all and using the 24-70 to get the same result?
