There's a moment in my years growing up, and out of the many abusive things that happened over the years, there's a moment that is conflicting for me as I feel it was abuse, but I don't actually know as it is a little different then the other situations.
There was a day where I had a game after school and needed to wash my jersey. I started the clothes before going to school that morning, and went to switch them when I got home, but I forgot I needed to as soon as I got home, did some homework, and didn't do it immediately so therefore my jersey didn't get dried before I had to leave. It was freezing out and when my dad found out he got pissed, yelled at me all the way to the game, and made me wear the soaked jersey to pitch in the game in 20° weather. Is that a reasonable punishment or was that also abusive? I can't seem to wrap my brain around it and it won't leave my thought process and it's killing me.
