Waiting a year to start kindergarten
Post Body
Our child turns five years old at the end of July. Our school district’s age cutoff for starting kindergarten is August 1st, which will make our child the youngest kid in his kindergarten class. We are strongly considering waiting an extra year so our kid can grow/mature a little more.
Have any of you done the same? Pros/cons to waiting an extra year? Regrets?
Thanks for any info you’re willing to share!
