i read that philippine hokkien is different from taiwanese hokkien.. if i want to learn hokkien to communicate with chinoys, will they understand taiwanese hokkien?
there's no resources to learn philippine hokkien (or is there?), but i found some for taiwanese hokkien kaya taiwanese hokkien ang focus ko
also, is it true that although chinoys speak hokkien in their homes, chinoys can't write in hokkien? since mandarin daw ang laging tinuturo... how true is this
