I realised in my past relationship i was suppressing my own sexual desires and communication just to be with her (she is asexual i consider myself hypersexual for her specifically so i thought i had to compromise on my part because i love her so much). Things ended badly and i am still healing from the breakup, but i do realise that me suppressing my own sexual desires and desire for communication was the worst thing i could have done to myself.
However i do understand that in a relationship no matter how good the relationship is there will be some compromises but to what extent should one compromise?
