So my fellow oldies...who do you recall from your days of youth that passed away far too early?

I'll never forget when I heard about Tina W. We were in 11th grade. She was out for lunch and was riding her bike back to school. Apparently someone did not see her and opened their car door after parking. She panicked and swerved to miss them but went into traffic and was hit by a truck and died.

And Treman P. 4th grade. Ugh. He was out at a park with friends and there was a group dare to swim across a pond. Several kids made it but he drowned in the attempt.

I was not present at either of these events but was a classmate with both of those kids.
