Asking every penetration testers here, what would you suggest a fresh high school graduate to do to start his journey in the cybersecurity field and wants to be a penetration tester? I am currently reading The Web Application Hacker's Handbook and Hacking - The Art of Exploitation and learning C. Now, due to the pandemic situation, I am considering doing courses on Coursera about CISCO networking or penetration testing but I am not sure which one to take. Also, some say that CEH is trash and others say it is great. Please give me advice on whether I should purchase the official CEH training from EC council to be able to give the CEH exam or should I go for other certifications? Is cybersecurity in universities actually good? Any help will be greatly appreciated!
