Hi! I am trying to follow this (easy) room on TryHackMe:

but I find a bit confusing, maybe it is not meant for beginners or skip some fundamental part.

I'd really to understand and not just follow the walkthrough as is. Can anyone recommend me a good tutorial/youtube playlist on this topic?

Furthermore, my goal is not to learn IDA (free): I would like to acquire the basic concepts that will allow me to do a basic analysis of an executable why no-matter-what tool (ghidra, Radare, and so on).
