NIST SP 800-61, Computer Security Incident Handling Guide

It was 2012, or 2011 as NIST caught the sight of the need to update SP 800-61. 2nd revision was released 2012. Reflecting the changes in attacks and incidents was the major motivation of update. I think threat scene had a good chance to make good to make further development post 2012 till 2023. Is SP 800-61 Rev.2 of that versatility the methods developed be powerful enough if it concerns contemporary adversaries?
