Bartending Job at a hotel seeks 2 years experience. Would they even consider a novice?
Post Body

I sent my resume to a craigslist add for a bartender for a new luxury hotel. It didn’t mention experience in the add but when i searched the website, it said they’re looking for 2 years experience bartending.

I just graduated bartending school and have experience as a host, smoothie bar, luxury gym front desk, tech industry, etc. but obviously not tangible bartending experience.

The HR Manager emailed me the flyer with their open house info for walk in interviews. I don’t know if she took a deep look at my resume.

Am i wasting my time if I go?
