Do you ever remember the 2013 December when it was 70°?

Originally from Detroit and have visited NYC twice. The first time was in 2013 a few days before Christmas and the second time was the beginning of August in 2015.

I remember watching Gossip Girl before I started high school and asking my father for Christmas to visit NYC. We drove 14 hours (would have been 10 if we knew the hell hole the Lincoln Tunnel was) and what I can remember from the trip was

I rode my first metro system (I actually have studied urban planning with my geography degree now)
There was 4 Starbucks on one block
It was 70° a few days before Christmas
Going up top the Empire State Building is overrated and going up top the Top of the Rock is underrated
Little Italy is also overrated

While I wanna come back sometime soon, that always makes my trip with my father rememberable and also kinda made Christmas feel like May.
