So me and my bf are going to NYC in October, we are both from Spain. This is actually our first time in the US and we want to see a Broadway show (a musical more specifically). My bf cares a lot about the singing and wants to hear huge powerful voices (think Wicked's Defying Gravity and stuff like that). We have seen The Lion King and Wicked here in Europe, so those two are not an option. I've read great things about Company, Come From Away, and Hadestown, but I'm afraid those might be more about the story (maybe?) and not about the singing.
What should we watch? Thank you.
Hadestown is a great time!
