So I have a 1BR and for a few months now I've been getting super congested/ithchy eyes/snot/miserable in JUST my living room. My bedroom has been fine. I've deep cleaned a couple times but the misery comes back each time. Just today it clicked and I realized that these are the symptoms I feel when I'm living with a cat. There's a nice cat in the apartment above me and since my air conditioner (and surely other drafts) is in proximity to the apartment above me, I believe the cat's dander is getting into my apartment. This is a scenario I didn't have the wherewithal to imagine when moving in.

Has anyone been in a similar predicament? I don't want to be an ass and tell my upstairs neighbor because there's nothing she can really do about it. Any ideas on how to manage/acclimate to the allergy other than running an air purifier continuously?
