I’ve wanted a Great Dane since I was a little kid but have since moved to NYC in East Williamsburg/Bushwick. My partner insists we need a car if we were to get a dog since it “can’t go on the subway”. I’ve seen other large breeds in our area and I’m wondering if that’s the case? If you do have a large breed and don’t have a car, how do you manage?
Edit: This isn’t about whether or not dogs can go on the subway. I totally understand they can’t unless they’re in a bag/carrier. It’s more so how to get out of the borough if needed without a personal car. Thanks!
