How good is the CUNY university system?

I’m (21F) considering transferring to either Hunter or Baruch or City this fall to finish my BA in Psych but am a bit hesitant since I don’t know much about either school’s reputation. I’m moving from socal which has the uc/csu system (good education for decent cost) but am not all familiar with cuny’s system. Are degrees from these schools known and respected in the city? Thanks for any advice
