I have made a few posts about when and where to vacation in New York City. I have been twice, once in December 2013 (when it was 70 degrees a week before Christmas) and another time in late July/early August of 2015 when it was hot as balls. I absolutely love the city and have nostalgia about coming back. I had the opportunity to go around Halloween but stayed home because it was a better idea, truthfully.
Anyway, I am trying to see if I should figure out if I should come in April or May because they are both good months with different reasons to visit.
April would be good because I have the chance to see cherry blossoms and add Philly and D.C. to my list as well (3 days NYC, take a few hours in Philly and 2 days in D.C.
May would have better weather (not too hot but warm and sunny) and I would be taking fewer classes. I would do New York City by itself for 4-5 days.
What is a better spring month? Are cherry blossoms overrated?
