I just moved to a new apt facility (Phipps Garden Apartments), which now researching is notoriously known for bad upkeep. Going on a third week of living in this apt girlfriend and I just discovered bed bugs and the building is having an exterminator come tomorrow. I just sent out an email to the building management saying they should pay for all of our clothes to be desanatize and heat treated. I haven't heard back from them yet, but im wondering how much of a right I have making them pay for getting all of our clothes heat treated for bed bugs, or is this something I have to pay for? Is there any thing legally I can bring up?

Seeing as the 7 years I've lived in nyc ive never had this issue until now and know for a fact that its Phipps Garden Apt facility.
