How much are mid-ranged restaurants Manhattan, Brooklyn and Queens?

I plan on visiting NYC for my birthday in early June with two friends from Canada. I have been here before twice when I was 14 and 16 but it’s been almost 5 years and I forgot how much everything is exactly (except that I remembered it was expensive).

For someone who like to eat out for every meal when he travels what would you say the average price for a plate at a mid-ranged restaurant is? Does the price vary across Manhattan and does it change if I go to let’s say Flushing, Queens?

What should my daily budget be?
