Are places like Brighton Beach or Flushing good for authentic cuisine?
Post Body

So I plan on going to New York City early June since I turn 21 right after May.

I’ve been to New York City twice and have seen Times Square, Rockefeller Center (Top of the Rock), Empire State Building and Central Park. I’ve also been to Chinatown and Little Italy as well as walked across the Brooklyn Bridge so I’ve down everything touristy.

I plan on doing almost everything listed (except Little Italy and going up top the Empire since they weren’t really that good (and because I’m basically meeting up with two friends who have never been).

I know my way around decently but would you say Brighton Beach (Russian) or Flushing (East Asian) being far away would be good for a day trip?

Most likely going for 3-5 days.
