Have you gotten a local business on your block to accept packages for you?
Post Body

See title, I'm moving to a nice prewar in the village, but I noticed that UPS had to place a package in the open to the public doorway which isn't great, but there's a cute little cafe on the same block, and I was wondering pitching them to allow me to ship expensive items to their store and dropping them a 10$ or something.

How have you guys set up securely receiving packages? are local businesses open to this? Am I overblowing the fact that my junk's being left in the doorway in a safe neighborhood?

thanks for any advice!
