Moving to NYC later this year. Can I find a studio with a loft for ~$2000 or is that a stretch?

My budget is really $3k (I'm moving with my girlfriend) but but I've seen a few studio apartments with lofts for $2000 on Zillow. Is that realistic or am I likely looking at scams?
