I was in NYC today and decided to go to the Levian Bakery to get one of their renowned chocolate chip cookies, but to be honest I was not impressed at all.
I found the cookies to be rather bland and extremely sweet. Also, they were practically raw on the inside and don't get me wrong I enjoy a slightly undercooked cookie but these were just too much. It was basically this cloyingly sweet lump of barely cooked cookie dough.
I was pretty disappointed as they have been featured on so many tv shows and articles and have been branded as NYC's "best chocolate chip cookie."
Anyone feel this way about them too?
