Planning around Broadway shows
Post Body

I came to NYC for the first time this summer for a whirlwind weekend broadway trip. I fit in as much sightseeing as I could near Times Square. I am going to be back again in June, but I’m having trouble discerning which activities I can realistically do when I have a show planned the evening (or two). I've done some research and haven't found a good answer yet, and would really appreciate any advice!

Here’s where I need to be for the shows I have planned:

Tuesday: 6pm at August Wilson

Wednesday: 2pm at Walter Kerr

Thursday: 5pm at Lyceum

Friday: 8pm at Lincoln Center

I know that I would for sure like to do the Met and I was thinking Tuesday would be the best day for that. Would a Staten Island Ferry roundtrip be doable on a two show day? In general will it best to stick to midtown the whole time trip or would I have time to venture out?

I have done so much research on things to do and see in NYC, but I’m just not sure what is realistic with my show timelines (and since I want to do it ALL I have a hard time prioritizing).

Places I’ve already been: Rockefeller Center/Top of the Rock, Drama Bookshop, Times Square, Bryant Park

Thank you for any advice!
