Visiting New York this week, how the city will react to freezing temperatures?

Post Body

Hi, i'll be in New York from tomorrow, and as a foreigner i'm not ready at all for the apocaliptic (at least for me) temperatures that will struck the city in the upcoming days.

Since we booked some activities, my question is: how the city will react to this? Should i expect closures, desert roads and other problems? Or it's totally normal to have this cold weather, and everything will work as usual? I'm thinking about our ferry to Liberty Island on tuesday, for example.

Thank you very much for any advice 🙏🙏🙏
