Will congestion pricing help with reducing traffic noise?
Post Body

Just moved into an apartment facing 57th Street and the traffic noise is really bothering me, especially all the honking and truck noises. Will the congestion pricing law in January help with anything?

Also curious how many people living in NYC actually need to wear earplugs to sleep? I just moved from a smaller city and am having a hard time adjusting to the noise level both during the day and at night.

I tried sound dampening curtains but they don't help much. So far I have been wearing noise cancelling earbuds during the day and earplugs at night to focus.
