First apartment - lost key, have a spare. Do landlords know?
Post Body
Just freaking out here because I've never been in this situation before. I've lost my apartment key, but have a backup I made earlier. At the end of the lease, do I just give back the landlord the spare? I'm not worried about someone breaking into the apartment, but about the landlord knowing it's not the original.
Does this happen often? Just looking for advice.
