Anyone have recs for a PCP who takes Healthfirst & is understanding/will listen to my multiple conditions?
Post Body

Hello all,

I want to preface this and say that I have Healthfirst Platinum Leaf (bless my work for taking care of most of as insurance.

I am a [30F] who was diagnosed with a prolactinoma in 2019. I had surgery that that year and radiation in 2022. All my specialists are at Mt Sinai and they are fantastic. Unfortunately, Mt Sinais PCPs no longer take Healthfirst and I’ve been struggling to find a PCP. The one from last year spent 15 minutes was ok… can t comment more but I don’t want to bombard this message lol.

She left the practice so I switched to another one this year (this one was a DO… didn’t realize she specializes in homeopathic medicine and osteopathic medicine until later… my fault). She was nice but seemed lost when I described to her what else I’ve been diagnosed with and am getting treatment for, especially because she can’t access MyChart (I offered her access). Then she did a full panel at 5 pm.

I don’t know if I’m expecting too much but I’d love to hear some suggestions.

Thank you!!!
