How realistic is it to get some sort of food service/hospitality job within the first two months of moving?
Post Body

Hey guys, I'm looking to move to nyc with a detailed plan, but to quickly summarize, me and my girlfriend are renting an Airbnb for 2 months which equals around the same as the rent we would like to be paying; we are using our savings to pay for that. Then we plan to secure jobs for both of us and then search for an apartment. We are particularly moving out there to pursue music and film but I am aware I need a job to pay for our living situation. I know it's the the smartest idea to dump our saving into an Airbnb, but that's the only shot we have and we will do anything to make it work. The main problem is finding a job that will gives us each 40 hours/week. I happen to have a few years of bakery/bagel shop management experience and my girlfriend works at Starbucks for years.. How realistic is it to get a full time job in food or at a deli within two months? We don't mind having to be a dish bitch or whatever, we'll do just whatever it takes even if it takes bussing tables snd washing dishes all day. Just please give me advice and whether this is a realistic and if you think I can just walk into places and eventually get a job. Thank you so much. @ Share
