Now that the pandemic has been over for a couple years, what is the typical amount for gratuity and when is it appropriate? Fees & gratuity have increased because of Covid but should we still tip the same amount as we did during Covid?

I’m seeing higher percentages now, ie 20% being the lowest, then 22%, 25% and even 30%.

I went to Pret this morning and for the first time the cashier turned around a “tip screen”. I’m grabbing by sandwich from the shelf, bringing it to the cashier and then taking it away. I didn’t tip.

Do you tip for take away coffee? If so, how much?

What do you tip at restaurants now? For Uber & Cab drivers? Cleaning service? Grocery delivery? Food delivery? Estheticians? Massage therapists? Bar tenders? Fast food like Sweetgreens? And of course, restaurant servers when sitting in?

Just want to get an idea of what the average amount has been lately.
