There is one person walking downtown and two people walking uptown. At the point where they reach each other on the sidewalk there is only space for two people to walk simultaneously. What is the correct NYC etiquette for these three people walking down the sidewalk?
EDIT TO REFLECT COMMENTS: Seemingly everyone on Reddit of NYC agrees that the pair of people must adjust (understandably barring for disability or children). Why is it then that the people walking the streets of NYC do not understand this rule of decorum?!
