Hey everyone,
My partner and I are in the process of buying a 1-bedroom co-op (around 730 sq ft) on the Upper West Side. While shopping for insurance, Geico offered us coverage of around $160k. This is our first time purchasing co-op insurance, and Iām wondering if this is sufficient.
In the event of a fire or another disaster that wipes everything out, how much would it realistically cost to rebuild/replace everything inside? Iām not sure how to calculate the right amount of coverage.
Any advice from people with experience in co-op insurance would be greatly appreciated!
Thanks!
