My husband and I are contemplating next phase of life as empty nesters. We’re still relatively young - 50 YO. I grew up on the east coast and have gone back to NYC every year to visit friends. My husband is from the PNW where we’ve raised our kids the last 25 years. He likes NYC but I need him to LOVE it because I’ve almost got him on board to buy a place there in the UWS. We’re going soon for a week and staying near Lincoln Center/Central park. We have dinner plans for every night we’re there - either just the 2 of us or meeting out old friends. I need suggestions for things to do with him during the day that will ingratiate him to wanting to park there with me for phase 2 of life. He’s active, loves beer and coffee - the best kind (he’s a PNW’er by birth), enjoys live music, working out, being outdoors, etc. Any suggestions you have for me that come to mind, I’d welcome.
