Got back from the Y and had someone staring and potentially take a pic of me. Went straight to staff, who checked his phone and said I wasn't in it. The one I go to also doesn't have private locker rooms and are only divided by adult (male/female) and family. That same guy starts chatting me up while I'm trying to change and having to tell him to please leave was the only way I got privacy. Issue is, it's not the first time this happened, and staff can't do anything because they don't have cameras in the locker rooms.
I just want to go to a gym that's friendly towards LGBTQ with people minding their own business and bans phones during workout. Is there such a place? I'm in Queens but open to traveling if it means a better experience.
