Best Area for commute to Chelsea

Hi y’all! I’m a recent graduate (black male, 30). Post graduation I secured a job at a big tech company at their office in Chelsea. I’m wondering if you guys have any recommendations for areas to live in. I have a salary of around 190k in total compensation and no student loans or any other expenses. I’m looking to live in areas that are more cultured and have a sizable queer community. My co-workers and friends have suggested Williamsburg but i’m not sure thats quite the vibe I’m looking for. Any other suggestions that have a decent commute to office would be nice. I’m not a partier or club goer if that matters.
