Okay, so I'm looking at Studios and 1 Beds in SoHo, West Village, and Greenwich Village currently. I came across this unit (Unit 16) on Sullvan St.: https://streeteasy.com/building/142-sullivan-street-new_york/16
Some details:
- It's in a walk-up building on 3rd floor (two flights).
- The living room is large enough, but the Bedroom is small (OKayish for me).
- There's a live-in super, but no in-building laundry.
Previous images of this unit in previous listings look more or less consistent, so doesn't seem images have been manipulated too much. Looking at the history, it seems there have been 2 tenants in the last 2 years (could indicate issues? but not sure). But apart from that, don't see anything too fishy.
May be I'm just paranoid, but $3400 for a 1 Bed sounds too good to be true to me. I have a tour scheduled tomorrow and will be looking in-person, but even the Brokers sometimes don't have answers to all the questions about the past history and issues. This is my first time hunting apartments in NYC, so wanted to see if there are any obvious red-flags others can see that I'm not seeing :)
Thanks!
