Please don't come for my neck for how this sounds- I usually do the Hamptons over LDW and avoid the city (as I imagine many do- regardless of them being on LI or not). My friend is a Boston Gay™, and while we have very similar tastes for nights out, we haven't had nights out together much here in NYC. He's not experienced in the NYC scene, and I'm a raver/don't frequent bars, so I'm also pretty lost.

Our college years were spent ferociously galavanting around gay bars and clubs in Providence, RI ca. 2007-2011, which was a delight, but very different than NYC in both vibes and crowd sizes. We're in our 30's and are overdue for a massive weekend of fun. I'm most familiar with the staples; Industry, The Monster (which I think he'll love), and Stonewall, etc. We are down for anything; we've done it all, from tiny lounges and live piano/singers to multi-level mega clubs.

I would LOVE tips for the weekend- especially how you've found holiday weekends here, what people like to do in daytime, and if there's anything specific we should try to do on our bonus day/night: Monday 9/1 (anything close to NoMad this day is a HUGE bonus, our dinner is at Atoboy). Manhattan based, and he's on vacation; truly looking to unwind and treat himself. High cost is, for the most part, not a barrier of entry for this weekend. Thank you in advance! <3
