Thoughts on Adel’s Halal?

After hearing all the hype around Adel’s Halal food on 6th and 49th st, I decided to try it over the weekend. Even at 2AM, the wait was nearly an hour and a half. The line was ridiculously long and slow moving. Going through security at JFK during rush hour is a much more pleasant experience than waiting on this line. The food itself is just average at best, with any other halal cart being just as good. Adel’s is definitely a tourist trap and not worth trying. I would avoid at all costs.
