Advice on Manhattan neighborhoods

Moving to NYC in September for work. Need some advice on which neighborhoods to live in. My office is near 34th st Penn Station and I’ll be working from the office. I’ll be commuting using the trains and don’t want the commute to be >30min.

What I’m looking for: relatively chill neighborhood that’s easy to get to the busy parts of the city from. I only plan on eating out on the weekends so during the week I only need to be close to gyms and Trader Joe’s.

Would love some advice on these neighborhoods: UES, UWS, Murray Hill, LES and east village.
