Activites to do with one working arm?

I tore my rotator cuff and will be in a sling for a little while. What are some activity ideas for a (broke) teenager to do with his friends? Trying to stay in shape as well since I'm currently very fit :(
I was thinking the botanic gardens... maybe a museum (but not the Met, been there so many times!)
