Will a week be enough time to find an apartment?
Post Body

I'm moving to NYC next month. I'm planning on being there in a few weeks to look for apartments in Manhattan and Brooklyn.

I'm aiming for one/two-bedrooms for less than $5K per month. I'll be making $150K but I have enough assets to pay rent for 3 years without income easily.

I want to take a vacation between that trip and my moving date.

So if I spend the week of April 22 looking for apartments with the aim of moving in the week of May 13, will I likely be successful? I'm not super picky.

I've heard mixed reviews on apartment hunting, so I'd love to get feedback from this group. Will I likely find something? Anything that I'm missing or not thinking about?
